We need you!

May 1st is three weeks away and we need you.

This isn't just our event. Hundreds of organizations and working people are coming together for May Day under the banner "Workers Over Billionaires." MAY DAY STRONG Unions across the country are flexing their muscles with a widespread May Day action — and right here in Westfield, we're doing our part in solidarity.

We're planning a TWO HOUR rally (thanks for the feedback!) on May 1st from 2-4PM, our normal Friday overpass brigade 4-5PM, and hope to bring a contingency to the WMALF march in Holyoke from 4:30-6:30PM

But we can't pull this off without help. Here's what we need:

Advertise: Like, Comment, and Share our posts on social media. Print and distribute or display flyers.

Create Signs: Labor themes, healthcare, housing, fair share, fair wages — a life worth living.

Try Out Your Voice: Help set up or run a table at our teach-in.

Network: Know a union member or organizer? Connect us — we need rally speakers.

Create Content: Labor history art, writing, digital content — share it or make it.

Mobilize: Bring one new person to a Tuesday or Friday standout.

Safety: Train to become a safety marshal for our public events. Let us know if you do this at [email protected] or in person at a Tuesday or Friday!

Contribute: Make a financial contribution to support the movement, or join our working team!

If you're a student: organize a walkout. Students have led every major movement in this country — from the Vietnam War protests to the anti-apartheid divestment movement. May 1st is your day too.

If you're a worker: take the day if you can. If you can't, don't shop. Especially not at the corporations backing this regime — Amazon, Home Depot, Target, or banking with Citizens Bank. For more boycott targets: iceoutboycott.com
