We are the cavalry
Dear Patriots,
For 69 weeks, No Kings Westfield has shown up—week after week, in all weathers, “defying tyranny, building community.” Together we’ve grown from five people and two dogs to rally-goers, social media followers, and newsletter audiences of more than a thousand. We’ve built something real. Together we can create a better world.
The challenge before us is not simply to keep showing up ourselves. It’s to reach more of our neighbors, invite them into the work, and build new partnerships throughout our community. Here are opportunities to do exactly that:
Monday, July 6, 6:00 p.m. – at Town Hall. The City Council will meet in a packed room for the 2nd reading and vote on a Datacenter Moratorium (future datacenters, not the Servistar LLC datacenter that we all should continue to speak out against). Many citizens not normally active are fired up about this, and the council has been surprised to see so many people at these meetings! Here is an opportunity to show our neighbors that we share a common cause. We need a strong, visible presence—wear your No Kings t-shirt! If you want more information moving forward, join WRAFT.

Friday, July 10 – at Westfield State’s Interfaith Center. Westfield Friends of Peace gathers for our Listening Circle .
