We Are The Fireworks.

Greetings, Fellow Patriots!

Signups continue to pour in for June 14, noon to 1:00 pm at Park Square.  

Whether we are 100 or 200 strong depends on you and the friends and family you encourage. Early showers will lessen throughout the day. Dress appropriately and do not lose heart.  The one thing bullies fear is strength.  

Continue to keep de-escalation in mind, when it comes to inevitable bystanders trying to disrupt. Politely encourage our friends to disengage as well!

You see Mexican flags
in a city built by Mexicans
and shout all-caps: INSURRECTION!

You see the slaver flag
carried through our Capitol and
pardon “very fine people.”

Who dreams an America
all white, all straight, a gun on every hip?
Who screams treason at brown gardeners
but names forts for gray ghosts
who killed to keep their human cattle?

The streets are the holy places now.
Marching is our liturgy.
Let drums beat from LA to Boston.
The stars on our flags
are not the ones
you count
in your dream
of perfect Whiteness.

We are the fireworks.
We are the National Anthem.
We are the blaze in every color.
And on Flag Day—
while you roll tanks through our streets—
We rise.
