Breaking Business as Usual: This Week's Activities

Hello, Patriots!

We topped seventy last week as we persist in breaking up “business as usual” in Westfield and throughout the US.

As of now, there is a Heat Advisory in effect. Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to hit 97 F. If the Heat Advisory tomorrow afternoon continues, we’ll cancel the rally until next Tuesday.

There is an Interfaith Vigil for the Disappeared in Northampton on Sunday, August 3rd. You are invited for lunch of pasta primavera at Steve and Judy's home at 12:30. Attendees can drive or carpool to the Northampton vigil from there.  Let us know if you would like to join Judy and him for lunch, and we'll pass the message along – [email protected].

If we rally this week our song will be another Black Gospel song that was given new lyrics (below) by the Civil Rights movement.  We’ll have new lyrics for our time.
